Within a drawing, Top Level, Indented or Part's Only BOM tables are available.
This is a quick description of the basic functionality of BOMS and how a BOM table can be modified.
Only components with an 'Add to BOM' right click command will be shown in the BOM table. Multiple components can be selected > Add to BOM.

Example of Parts Only BOM:
Assembly owning components are not described - only parts are listed
Notes on BOM Tables:
Within any BOM table, rows or columns can be sorted , added or deleted. The table can also be split:
Examples:
Parts only BOM table it's possible to re-order the ' ITEM NO.' by just selecting and changing the number, then sort the column as shown below:
Also, by selection of any row item description such as Item no, Description, Quantity etc, it is possible to Insert a row which then allows to add spaces within the table ( spaces must retain a 'Item number'). All ballooned items automatically update their numbering. *See the example below showing items 7 and 8 as empty components:
* Having numerical gaps allows for the Insertion or deletion of items without affecting the Item number of other items which could be important it other documents reference the BOM table.
In the example below of a Indented BOM, the table has been Split into each assembly. This allows for each table to be repositioned close to their parts within the drawing:
Note: Do not add a row to an Indented BOM.
