Engineer of Tomorrow - Chelsea Back

At DesignSpark and RS Components we are proud to support engineers across their entire careers.

One of the most important parts of that journey is learning to be an engineer. The diary of a young engineer series has been a regular feature on DesignSpark for a long time now. It documents the studies of Chelsea Back as she pursues her career into engineering. We here at DesignSpark are encouraged that young engineers are using our community to share their projects and course studies. We thought we better catch up with Chelsea and find out a little bit more about this determined young engineer of the future.

In addition to studying for a HND in Engineering at Bradford College, Chelsea is also getting that essential hands on experience that every new engineer needs. Working for AB Open allows Chelsea to put into practice all that she has learned, but not only that, Chelsea has been kind enough to share this with our community through her regular posts.

Whilst being informative and inquisitive, it's great to see how Chelsea has used her posts to create a documented progression for each further step towards her career within engineering.

Our video interview with Chelsea should help inspire anyone considering a future in engineering, as Chelsea mentions in the first words of the video, "there couldn't be a better time to be an engineer".
