I’ve got an 11-year-old son who I’d like to encourage into electronics in some way, but he’s not been too interested in his Raspberry Pi and was disappointed with a robotics club at school because there were no actual robots! Obviously, he doesn’t have to grow up wanting to be an engineer (of course, that would be nice!), but I think finding an angle that interests him so he gets a basic understanding will be really helpful for him in the future.
Does anyone have any suggestions on any clubs, or kits, or events that encouraged them or their children?
