TWITTER COMPETITION - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Entry Information:

All entries must be submitted by 05.00pm (GMT) on Monday 2nd January 2023. Entry is via retweeting any of the competition posts on Twitter and following @RSDesignSpark. One competition entry for every retweet. Multiple entries accepted.. No purchase necessary.

The opening date for entries is 08.00am (GMT) on Monday 19th December 2022. The closing date of the prize draw is 05.00pm (GMT) on Monday 2nd January 2023 Entries received after this time will NOT be considered.
RS accepts no responsibility for competition entries that are not successfully completed, submitted, or received by the Closing Date for any reason, including, for example, due to a technical fault or other equipment failures of any kind.

Eligibility Requirements:

The prize draw is open to all Twitter users aged 16 and over as of the date of entry. Written parental consent is required if the entrant is under 18. RS may ask the winner to provide proof of age.

This competition is not open to anyone living in a country, province, or state where this competition is prohibited, taxed, or otherwise restricted (for example prohibits unregistered competitions or contests or requires the Promotor to post a bond) under national, federal, provincial, state, or local laws, rules, or regulations. In particular, members located in Italy, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Cuba, or North Korea are ineligible to participate.

This competition is not open to employees (or their immediate family members) of RS Group plc companies.

Judging the Competition:

The winner of the competition will be randomly selected from all entries received prior to the Closing Date.

The decision of RS regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

Prize Information:

The prize is products to the value of £500 only, selected from the RS catalogue. RS is not responsible for any out-of-stock products.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered.

RS reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the reasonable control of RS make it necessary to do so.

Winner Announcement:

The Winner will be announced on Twitter on Thursday 4th January 2023.

The Winner will also be notified by DM (direct message) on Twitter (using the details provided at entry) as soon as reasonably practicable after the Announcement Date.

To claim the prize, you must: Provide your full name and postal address when requested. The winner will receive their prize by post within 60 days of being notified of their win.

General

By submitting an entry, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. RS reserves the right to refuse entry or to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Insofar as is permitted by law, RS will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring because of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of RS or its agents or employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

If you are a winner of the competition, you agree that RS may use your name, image, town, or country of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

Entries made on the Internet will be deemed made by the authorised account holder of the Twitter account at the time of entry. In the event of a dispute, potential winners may be required to provide proof that the potential winner is the authorised account holder associated with the potentially winning entry.

By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition and may be passed on to third-party suppliers if required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.

RS reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
