DesignSpark Mechanical won't launch

Hello,

I tried to install DSM 64 on a windows 10 machine. the installation process went smoothly but, when trying to launch the application for the first time, nothing happens.

Out of curiosity I had a look to the processes in the task manager. when running the application this is what happens in sequence:

1) Spaceclaim.exe process created

2) RSregistration.exe process created

3) RSregistration.exe process closes

4) Spaceclaim.exe process closes

I saw somene else had similar problems in the past but i could not find a suggested solution to the problem.
