With the global COVID-19 coronavirus situation presenting unprecedented challenges across nearly every industry and many of you playing critical parts in keeping healthcare systems and economies around the world operating, I want to let you know what we’re doing here at RS Components Americas to help you keep your lines up and running.
- All our warehouses and distribution centers remain fully operational. The facility automation technologies we’ve previously implemented, as well as the new cleaning, monitoring, and distancing measures we’ve put in place, are allowing us to continue business as close to usual as possible at this time while protecting our employees and the communities where they live and work.
- We have plenty of ready-to-ship inventory available online. Except for some select PPE items that are currently in short supply everywhere in the world, our stocks of everything from electronic components to industrial MRO products remain robust and we have nearly 500,000 products, complete with datasheets and images available to order online at https://americas.rsdelivers.com. We have more than $500 million of inventory from more than 300 suppliers, and our own RS Pro brand, ready to ship for a $9.99 flat rate anywhere in the U.S.
- We are leveraging our global network. In addition to orders fulfilled from our North America distribution centers, we also have inventory available in more than a dozen global RS Components warehouses that can arrive in the US, Canada, or Mexico within 3-5 days.
