I am struggling to apply a cosmetic thread to a hole. The thread tool just will not pick it up. Perhaps similary if I want to increase or decrease the hole diameter I can only do this in absolute dimentions. It also will not allow an axis. The hole is at an angle in 2 planes to any face and I wonder if this is having an effect ?
I really dont want to construct a "real" thread.
Any tips on how to do this please ?
I want a 3 x M4 fine, depth 9mm hole (currently 3.4mm "drilled") from the angle elipse face, highlighted orange.
