copy paste without loosing information and layers

I'm using DSM 4 now, and i am trying to copy from 1 document to another document. 

But when i paste it, it convert to different parts and losses it name, and expand it to all separate builds.

In DSM 2 it also copied the name and build-up.  

how to solve this?
