This is so close to be a really good piece of software but just seems to be being deliberately held back on a few key elements.
1. Why can we not edit and add/remove Classifications from cables, symbols, footprints, manufacturers parts? Let us users customise our databases to meet our own internal standards and sorting.
2. Page limit - It has been asked before, but we there be this arbitrary limit of 15 pages? Please just enable more.
3. Can we establish a database of user created content for cables, symbols, footprints, etc? Let us be able to help each other to build this tool into something great?
4. The final one is actually one that requires a bit of work, but some cable routing / cut list functionality on the panel layout woudl be great, so that cut lists could be created for all the cable lengths needed (add a modifiable +% tolerance field too).
There are slim pickings out there for specific electrical CAD software that is not a huge cost for smaller companies and individuals that has useful functionality. This is almost there as being something really useful and helpful.
