For many years, the growth in the mobile market has driven the mobile equipment manufacturers to seek a new breed to connector that is both smaller and more capable. The result of this search is the new 4.3-10 connector, which has been jointly designed by leading connector manufacturers HUBER+SUHNER, Rosenberger, SPINNER and Telegärtner.
The 4.3-10 connector has been designed to delivery the best electrical performance whilst delivery lowest possible Passive Intermodulation (PIM). Its small size allows it to perfectly fit between existing connector systems used in mobile communication industry today. The 4.3-10 has the potential to become the de-facto standard connector system for the mobile communication market. The new connector system is available with screw, hand-screw and push-pull mechanisms, making installation simply.
The 4.3-10 connector is the successor to the established 7-10 connector. This video from Rosenberger compares the new with the old, and shows the capability of this new system.
