SEVENTH PROJECT: A rotary vane pump designed with DSM 4

The oil-sealed rotary vane pump (in the picture, is similar to a Leybold one) is the main pump responsible for achieving the preliminary vacuum from atmospheric pressure to 0.001 mbar (1 atm=1000 mbar). All the rest of the high vacuum pumps (turbo, diffusion etc) depend on a rotary pump to operate. Vacuum is a "must-have" condition in many laboratory and industrial applications.
