The way most people come to hear about Blockchain is through something called Bitcoin, and this is where you're likely to encounter all sorts of opinions. These will be wide-ranging, for example, I recently heard someone mention that they are not investing in Bitcoin, as "it's a pyramid scheme and only those who started Bitcoin will gain any real worth from it". Tell that to Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, who for some reason, wishes to remain anonymous. Perhaps, when the 21 millionth Bitcoin has been mined, the secret that is Satoshi Nakamoto will be revealed. Given that this is likely to occur in 2140, we may never know.
