It’s nearly Christmas! So what better way to demonstrate and show-off your 3D printing ability to your family and friends than creating your very own 3D printed Christmas tree?
The fully assembled Xmas tree model
Now, this lovely decoration is not a tiny little thing that you can hang on your tree, no sir! Measuring over 30cm in height, a decision was made by the clever chaps from the RS Southampton branch to create it in two halves to accommodate your average 3D printer bed and create an aesthetic decoration you will want to keep forever!
The top half
This fun, 3D printed creation, was designed in its entirety using DesignSpark Mechanical, the STL files are yours to download for free from either our Thingiverse page or right at the bottom of this little article.
