Blockchain and Bitcoin - do you want to understand more?

There is a lot talk about Blockchain at the moment, some of it informed and some of it, well let's just say speculative.

The way most people come to hear about Blockchain is through something called Bitcoin, and this is where you're likely to encounter all sorts of opinions. These will be wide-ranging, for example, I recently heard someone mention that they are not investing in Bitcoin, as "it's a pyramid scheme and only those who started Bitcoin will gain any real worth from it". Tell that to Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, who for some reason, wishes to remain anonymous. Perhaps, when the 21 millionth Bitcoin has been mined, the secret that is Satoshi Nakamoto will be revealed. Given that this is likely to occur in 2140, we may never know. Should we ask Elon Musk if Hyperloop is actually intended for time travel?

As a quick aside, perhaps we should be investing our money in manufacturers of GPU's, such as Nvidia.

Whilst following many discussions about Blockchain, I recently came across this great discussion hosted on the Linc2 YouTube channel. Hopefully, you will find this useful.

During the summer of 2017 DesignSpark supported an event to look at how Blockchain technology could be used. The event was called #BreakTheBlock and was the first Blockchain and insurance themed “hackathon, find out more.
