We are delighted to announce that techUK chief, Paul Hide, is EW BrightSparks newest judge
If you haven’t already heard, RS Components has recently launched the EW BrightSparks programme in partnership with Electronics Weekly to highlight and celebrate the achievements of young electronics engineers in the UK.
Paul Hide is the newest recruit to our selection panel, alongside Dr Lucy Rogers (science presenter and writer), Richard Wilson (Editor of Electronics Weekly) and Lindsley Ruth (CEO of RS Components).
techUK works in partnership with its member organisations from across the breadth of UK technology industries. techUK’s members’ collectively employ around half of all UK tech sector jobs – some 700,000 people.
Paul has previously worked for Sony Electronics and Sharp Electronics, and has been involved in the technologies needed to deliver the analogue to digital technology transition across the last three decades.
