The “EIE Microcontroller Application Design Contest (2018 – 19)” organized by the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering (EIE), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and sponsored by RS Components Ltd, EGG Technology Ltd and 3D printed Prosthetics was launched on 15 February 2019.

Hill Fire Detection IoT System with LoRa/NB-IoT - Ho Sing TAM, Kwong Yin TSANG and Tsz Ho WONG
An IoT (Internet of Thing) system to detect hill fires by using LoRa.
Budget 3D Scanner - Cheuk Long CHUI and Yiu Chau TAM
A low-cost 3D scanner with ToF Sensor and two stepper motors as a Proof of Concept.
