In this edition of Ask the Expert, we caught up with Lee Morgan of Tektronix to understand more about in-vehicle networks. The modern vehicle is now as much reliant on data as it is fuel to run smoothly, gone are the days when the electrics in vehicles were mainly just lamps and central locking.
The ECU systems within vehicles control a whole host of data from various sensors, such as camera's, wheel speed sensors, tyre pressure, infotainment systems and even light and rain sensors. With all this data floating about it's important that everything works as it should, but what do you test for, well these and other questions were put to Lee.
