Hi!
I'm at loss in trying to create threads. I need to produce an adaptor from female 1,25" thread to female 42mm thread. I watch the video here:

Looks easy enought. I can create a cylinder but I can not sketch the profile of the thread. I don't understand what sketch position they are in in the video - with the large green rectangle. I can not get to a sketch mode with my cylinder seen from the side - I don't get the squared pattern over it all, and when I try to sketch, I get all kinds of strange things.
Anyone can guide me on how I make this first crucial step, the sketching of the thread pattern....?
