CES Days 3 & 4 - Fun!Follow article
CES was SO MUCH FUN! I don't know whether I genuinely found some fun stuff or whether I'd finally mastered jetlag but days 3 & 4 were great! This may also have something to do with the fact that the crowds had lessened with many visitors leaving after day 2. That being said, this is what a 'quiet' day at CES looks like...
Days 3 & 4 Highlights:
Lulzbot - actually manufacturing at the trade show! A CES first with an exhibitor actually manufacturing on the show floor! It was fantastic to see this amazing 3D printer in action and to talk to the people who make them; look out for this American brand out of Colorado coming to the RS 3D print range soon!
**Fun fact** Vegas legends Cirque Du Soleil use Lulzbot 3D printers in stage and costume production.
LG OLED Tunnel
A giant 90ft walk-through tunnel made up of LG OLED TVs! I have a great vid that won't upload! Sorry guys!
Bell Air Taxi
In my last post I joked about finding a drone taxi service to get me from A to B and today I found the Bell Air Taxi! The pic below shows Bell's model of an 'urban air taxi'; although this may seem like a fairly futuristic concept, the team from Bell and Uber Elevate firmly believe that the air taxi may be a reality in the near future.
Other highlights include the Nikon dancing partner robot, the incredible Intel drone light show at the Bellagio and my personal highlight of the week, getting to sit down & relax now that the show is finished! Since I've been here I've done at least 20,000 steps a day, which have felt like double that!
Feel free to drop me any questions about CES in the comments and join me in a few weeks time for my take on BETT, the education technology show.
