can't export object from DSM to Cura or to .stl file

DSM 4.0 with translators 19.1 installed.   When I try to export to Cura DSM indicates 1 body, 196 facets but I get this error from Cura with no object visible:

It will export to 3d pdf ok.   Any ideas?  Did I miss something?
