In assemblies, as a rule I keep fixings as STP files. Mostly these have been downloaded from RS, Grabcad and similar. In a BOM table, if there are multiples of rsdocx parts they show as one line and the correct quantity. However for stp parts they show up as individual lines of 1 each. Therfore my habit is to show only one in the assembly and in text on the drawing note 1 shown of 8 or similar txt. Its not really ideal I realise the stp are "in" the assembly rather than linked back to the part, but for the BOM table is there a way around the multiple lines ?
