Hi All, I am looking at developing a wireless safety system based on CIP Safety (Safety over common industrial protocool Ethernet). I just need to convert Ethernet to wireless and back again. The protocol is safe so the hardware, doesn't have to have any safety ratings as such but needs to be robust and reliable in an Industrial environment. I'm looking at a number of methods - optical, WiFi (Anybus, Phoenix contact), Bluetooth etc. and open to anything else (5g?) but generally find that in industrial environments that the response time suffers to conpensate for reliability (increasing the max number of lost packets to large numbers etc.). !Wondered if anyone had any experience? Thanks in advance
Best Ethernet wireless system?
