In the next few weeks, RS Components will be introducing a range of new Precision RF connectors from Samtec, and so we thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to find out more.
I was lucky enough to talk to Mike Dunne and Steve McGeary of Samtec to understand more about what precision RF connectors are and what they can do. Both Mike and Steve are instrumental in the advanced work that Samtec is conducting in this high-performance market.
We talked in some detail about how the latest technologies are driving advances in transmission speeds, and how frequencies of 40 GHz or more are now commonplace.
