With the subject of electric vehicles (EV) still very much in the news, connecting high currents and voltages are a constant challenge. We recently had the chance to talk to Giangiacomo De Ambrosi of Amphenol, who was able to talk about the Surlok Plus connector series.
Surlok Plus is designed to be a robust but easy-to-use connector to provide connections to power supplies. Giangiacomo was able to give us plenty of information about this new connector series and the Radsok contact technology at its heart.
However, there is nothing like seeing the connectors themselves. I was able to get hold of a sample kit for the Surlok Plus range, and you can join me as I take a look and give you my first impressions.
