I've been looking for software like this and stumbled upon a video posted on youtube. I would like to use this software for designing 3d printed r/c aircraft. I am designing a 3d printed flying wing with an EDF for populsion and a Pixhawk Mini flight controler for flight stabilization.
I would like to take a 3d aircraft design and split the drawing sections into assemblies, much like you can do in Solidworks. Can I do that ? I tried with Freecad but the stl models have too many faces and vetrics and bogs down the interface to the point where it crashes. So far Design Spark is working fine! No crashes and it runs fine in VirtualBox. My primary OS is Linux so I have to run in VirtualBox for now. My goal is to run Design Spark with Wine.
