The workshop started with a general overview of how RS Components is as a company. It is then continued by a detailed introduction to DesignSpark Mechanical as a revolutionarily simple 3D Design software that is suitable for rapid prototyping.
We then proceeded to hands-on experience on using DesignSpark Mechanical, which is my favorite part because I could have a taste of rapid 3D designing and experiment on the effects of various tools on my design.
The organizers were really helpful in assisting participants on both technical and non-technical issues, and instructors always made sure that participants could follow the flow of the workshop.
Overall it was an enjoyable, informative and reasonably-paced workshop. I’m looking forward for more workshops like this one!
